According to museum curator Tom Schmeh, “We are very excited about this year’s Knoxville Nationals Fan Fair in the museum, as our moderators have done a great job in lining up their special guests. I would like to take this time to thank Dean Mills, Johnny Gibson, Larry Boos, David Mills, Bill Wright, Stacy Ervin, Greg Nicol, Gary Guehler and Bruce Ellis for moderating these live forums on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week. Then on Saturday, August 13, we have three great historical forums scheduled, hosted by Les Randall, Teresa Adrian and Bruce Boertje. Finally, we are thrilled that Bob Trostle is leading the way in signing autographs in his re-created garage in the museum again this year. We will have many drivers, including Brady Bacon, that will be meeting and greeting fans in the garage, for one hour at a time, from 10:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. each day of the Goodyear Knoxville Nationals. We will release that autograph session schedule early next week.”
