Second Floor Tickets Available for Motorcycle & L.M. Nationals
Monday, August 23, 2010 - The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum continues to sell tickets for its heated second floor for the AMA Flat-Track Motorcycle Knoxville Nationals, September 17-18, and the open-competition Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals, September 30-October 1-2. Museum executive director Bob Baker said today, “As we head into the cooler fall season, I think alot of racing fans will want to get inside where its warm for our upcoming motorcycle and dirt late model events. And even though the bikes and late models are low-slung and hard to see on the front stretch from our second floor, we still get alot of interest from our fans for tickets for seats on this level. I guess they just like the ability to bring their own food and drinks, get up and move around, and socialize between the races with people from all over the country!"
Second floor tickets are available for all racing events on the Marion County Fairgrounds. Said Baker, “Additionally, we have closed-circuit television and the public-address system on the second floor. And we allow fans to bring their own food and drinks up to the second-floor clubhouse and the third- and fourth-floor suites on race nights, which is pretty unusual anymore at major sporting events. We feel we have one of the most fan-friendly environments in dirt track racing in all the world and we look forward to showcasing it during the weeks ahead.”
